MURAT BALCI
In the beginning everything belonged to nobody
25.10-20.11.2022
KAIROS Gallery is hosting the second solo exhibition of Murat Balcı entitled “In the beginning everything belonged to nobody”. Following the critical actions in the historical process of the desire for ownership in chronological order, the exhibition scrutinizes the origin and evolution of the concept of ownership, which we constantly stumble upon. The
artist examines the three million years old experience regarding property that still continues its repetition nowadays, in between sunrise and sunset.
The exhibition “In the beginning everything belonged to nobody” will be accompanied by a performance by twelve-odyssey at the opening and can be visited between the dates 25.10-20.11.2022 every day except for Sunday and Monday between the hours 12.00-19.00.
